862-page monograph revised Australian Thynnidae and Tiphiida with 18 new genera and 116 new species 2025-08-19
Dr Graham Brown revised the Australian Thynnidae and Tiphiidae in a 862-page monograph. Most species are placed in Thynnidae (75 valid genera including 18 new and 817 valid described species of which 116 are new) while the Tiphiidae is limited to a single species (Tiphia intrudens).
