Abstract
A new species of Columbisoga Muir (Delphacidae, Delphacinae) is described from Tucumán province, Argentina. This is the first species in the tribe Tropidocephalini reported from Argentina. Including the new species, C. dentipyga sp. nov., the genus Columbisoga comprises one species from India (the type species) and 13 from the Americas.
