Abstract

In the present study, the taxonomy of the genus Henosepilachna Li, 1961 from China is revised to include 29 species. Four species are newly described: Henosepilachna bellatula Ye, Chen & Wang, sp. nov., Henosepilachna megista Ye, Chen & Wang, sp. nov., Henosepilachna tenuis Ye, Chen & Wang, sp. nov. and Henosepilachna hornoformis Ye, Chen & Wang, sp. nov. Henosepilachna genitalis Hoàng, 1977 is recorded from China for the first time. Diagnosis, detailed description and illustrations for each species are presented. A key to the Chinese species of Henosepilachna is also given.
