First report of the genus Swammerdamella Enderlein, 1912 (Diptera: Scatopsidae) in China, with descriptions of nine new species

Abstract

The genus Swammerdamella Enderlein, 1912 is first reported in China with nine new species described in this paper: S. flexuosa sp. nov., S. globus sp. nov., S. gracilis sp. nov., S. latilobata sp. nov., S. papillata sp. nov., S. planus sp. nov., S. ramulosa sp. nov., S. tricuspis sp. nov., S. venusta sp. nov. A key to known Swammerdamella species in China is also provided.
