Abstract
The genus Stictobura Crotch (Coccinellidae: Sticholotidini) comprises only three species and is endemic to the Western Ghats of India, one of the world’s eight ‘hottest hotspots’ of biological diversity and endemism. In this paper, a fourth species, Stictobura ponmudiensis sp. nov., from the Western Ghats (Kerala), is described and illustrated. The unusual female genitalia in three Stictobura species are illustrated and compared for the first time.
