Abstract
The genus Dohrniphora Dahl is one of the largest phorid genera and found worldwide, whose larvae include scavengers, fungivores, kleptoparasites, facultative predators, and parasitoids. China, belonging geographically to the Oriental and Palaearctic Regions, is important in zoological distribution. 28 species were recorded from Chinese fauna. In the present paper, three new species of the genus Dohrniphora Dahl, D. gracilisetis sp. nov., D. decrescentis sp. nov. and D. henryi sp. nov., are described and illustrated. A revised key to Chinese species is presented.
