Abstract

A new cavernicolus pselaphine, Seracamaurops cvorovici sp. nov. from Montenegro, is described. Protamaurops peristeri Karaman, 1961 is redescribed and its species rank status is restored, stat. resurr. (from P. winneguthi (Székessy, 1943)). New records are given for Protamaurops macrophthalmus (Müller, 1944) from Albania; Paramaurops apfelbecki (Ganglbauer,1895) from Croatia and P. kaufmanni (Ganglbauer, 1895) from Montenegro. The taxonomic status of Protamaurops winneguthi (Székessy, 1943) is briefly discussed.
