Abstract
A new species of gall wasp in the genus Andricus Hartig, 1840 is described from South Korea. Andricus is the most diverse genus in the tribe Cynipini within the family Cynipidae, and the newly described species is known only from individuals of a sexual generation that induces galls on the leaves of Quercus mongolica. A diagnosis, description, and biology of this new species are provided.
