Lepidoptera DNA-barcoding genitalia grassland new records seasonal dimorphism taxonomy

Abstract

We report a new record of Exaeretia allisella Stainton, 1849 and Depressaria falkovitshi Lvovsky, 1990 in Japan. This is the first record of the genus Exaeretia in Japan. Images of the adults and male genitalia and the larval biology of D. falkovitshi are provided.
