A new species of genus Squamosa Bethune-Baker, 1908 (Lepidoptera: Limacodidae) from India

Abstract

A new species, Squamosa anchorata sp. nov., of the genus Squamosa Bethune-Baker, 1908, is described from India. Additionally, Squamosa undulophallus Wu, Solovyev & Han, 2022 is reported for the first time from Arunachal Pradesh. This study also includes a detailed distribution map of Indian Squamosa species and presents an updated global checklist of the genus.
