Abstract

Faunistic and taxonomic data for six species of the genus Anthobium Leach, 1819 from Nepal are presented. Anthobium hartmanni sp. nov. (Koshi) is described and illustrated. Distributional map for a new species and Nepalese A. denticulatum Shavrin & Smetana, 2018 is given. Three species are recorded for the first time from several provinces of Nepal: A. altivagans (Cameron, 1941) from Karnali, A. denticulatum from Karnali, Bagmati and Koshi, and A. rugosum (Champion, 1925) from Bagmati.
