Abstract

The following ten new species are described from the United Arab Emirates by C. Schmid-Egger: Didineis mokrousovi, Gastrosericus albidaaensis, Gastrosericus alwathbaensis, Gastrosericus barqaalsuqoorensis, Gastrosericus pulawskii, (paratypes also from Oman), Gastrosericus sheikhae, Oxybelus sajiae, Parapiagetia alwathbaensis, Parapiagetia haladai, and Parapiagetia huwrobertsi (paratypes also from Oman). The unknown males of Nitela arabica Gayubo & Schmid-Egger, 2014, and of Parapiagetia arabica Schmid-Egger, 2014 are described for the first time, new recognition characters for Nitela Latreille, 1809, are given. A key for all Arabian species of Gastrosericus Spinola, 1839, Nitela, and Parapiagetia Kohl, 1897 is provided.
