Abstract

Two new species of the genus Astenus Dejean, 1833, A. ambohitantelyensis Janák & Baňař, sp. nov. and A. grebennikovi Janák & Baňař, sp. nov. from Madagascar are described and illustrated. New records of eleven additional species are presented.
