Abstract
The genus Alloclubionides Paik, 1992 is a typical Palearctic member of the subfamily Coelotinae and includes a total of 23 species from a variety of Asian countries (Korea, 12 species; China, 6; Russia, 4; Japan, 1) (Kim & Lee 2006; Platnick 2008). More than 10 species of this genus are known only from male or female specimens (Platnick 2008). During a survey of the spider fauna of Korea, spiders of the genus Alloclubionoides were collected by pitfall traps in natural forests and caves. In this paper, the female of Alloclubionoides kimi (Paik, 1974) is described for the first time. The previously proposed female of A. kimi (Namkung 2001) appears to be a misidentification of A. dimidiatus (Paik, 1974). Specimens examined in this paper will be deposited at the National Institute of Biological Resources, Incheon (NIBR) and the Laboratory of Biodiversity, Hanyang University, Seoul (LBHU).
