A new species of Scutisotoma Bagnall (Collembola: Isotomidae) from China

Collembola Isotomidae Scutisotoma potapovi sp. nov. China

Abstract

A new species, Scutisotoma potapovi, is described from Jiangsu Province, China. The new species is most similar to S. subarctica (Gisin, 1950) and S. indigirka Potapov, Babenko & Fjellberg, 2006. The drawings of pertinent morphological details are included. The checklist of species belonging to the Proisotoma sensu lato from China is given.
