A review of the genus Mazarredia Bolivar (Orthoptera: Tetrigoidea: Tetrigidae: Metrodorinae) from China

Orthoptera Tetrigidae Mazarredia review new species China

Abstract

A total of fourteen species of Mazarredia Bolivar occurring in China were systematically researched in this paper. Two species, Mazarredia convexa sp. nov. and Mazarredia sfrictivertex sp.nov., are described as new to science. Synonymy, distribution and a key to species are presented. The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an, China and Department of Chemistry and Life Science, Hechi University, China.
