Two new species of Hybochaetodus Arrow (Coleoptera: Scarabaeoidea: Hybosoridae: Anaidinae) from Peru

Abstract

Hybochaetodus disruptus Ocampo, sp. nov. and H. erugocarinatus Ocampo, sp. nov. both from Cusco, Peru are described and illustrated. The genus Hybochaetodus now includes four species: H. flaco Ocampo, H. obscurus Arrow, H. disruptus, and H. erugocarinatus, all known from Peru. The four species are compared and a key to species is provided. A diagnosis for the female of H. flaco is provided for the first time.
