Abstract

Crematogaster discinodis Emery, 1893 stat. rev. is raised to the species rank from the subspecies of Crematogaster subnuda. Crematogaster latipetiolata Karawaiew, 1935 stat. nov. is raised to the species rank from the subspecies of Crematogaster brunnea. The worker castes of C. discinodis and C. latipetiolata are redescribed based on nest series samples collected from Southeast Asia. We also provide information on the intraspecific morphological variations of C. discinodis and C. latipetiolata.
