Biodiversity Application & Research Center, Atatürk University, Erzurum, Turkey
Curculionidae Larinus taxonomy new species host plant Turkey

Abstract

The new species Larinus atillai sp. nov., associated with the Turkish endemic plant Jurinea pontica Hausskn. & Freryn, is described from western Turkey. The new species is closely related to Larinus idoneus Gyllenhal, 1835. Digital images of morphological characters, habitat of type locality, host plant and adults are presented.
