Lepidoptera sexual dimorphism tiger moths Pericopina

Abstract

The previously unknown male of Dysschema amapoarum Moraes & Duarte, 2015 from the Atlantic Rainforest of southeast Brazil is here described, with illustrations of the adult and genitalia. We also compare the habitus and morphology of D. amapoarum with three closely related species, in order to shed light on the taxonomic identity of this species.
