Abstract
The genus Chrysothyridia Munroe, 1967 is recorded in China for the first time. Chrysothyridia trapezoidalis sp. nov. is described as new to science, with its adult and male genitalia images provided. The new species is clearly separated from the other two Chrysothyridia species in the Maximum likelihood phylogenetic tree constructed based on COI sequence data.
