Abstract
Japanese species of the Lygaeid genus Thunbergia Horváth, 1914 are revised. Two taxa previously misidentified as T. sanguinaria (Stål, 1870) by previous workers are in the present study recognized as distinct and described as T. immaculata sp. nov. and T. trinigra sp. nov. Key to Japanese species of the genus is provided.
