Abstract
A new species of the entimine genus Rhinoscapha Montrouzier, Rh. degei Bollino and Zhang sp. nov., is described from the Fijian island of Viti Levu. The new species can be distinguished from other species occurring in eastern Melanesia by the pattern of whitish-yellow and ferruginous scale patches, and from the sympatric Rh. lagopyga Fairmaire also by the shape of the everted endophallus.
