Abstract

Six new combinations are made for the ferns of Sri Lanka, including families Aspleniaceae (Hymenasplenium amoenum), Cyatheaceae (Alsophila sledgei and A. srilankensis) and Thelypteridaceae (Christella × parahispidula, Christella sledgei, Metathelypteris dassanayakei), and one new natural hybrid from the family Thelypteridaceae (Christella × fraser-jenkinsii) is proposed based on morphological and distributional evidence.
