Abstract

Misopates orontium (L.) Raf. was firstly collected in Fujian province, China. It is the new record of the genus Misopates for the Flora of China. Morphological and palynological characters are described and imaged in detail. Molecular analysis based on 20 nrITS sequences testified the correct generic taxonomic identification.
