Abstract
In the course of the systematic revision of the aggregate of Festuca circummediterranea Patzke in Gutermann et al. (1974: 261), in progress by the authors, a nomenclature issue concerning the validity of the combination “Festuca marginata subsp. gallica” proposed by Breistroffer (1966: 79) and its type emerged, which we aimed to resolve in the present contribution.
