A new termitophilous species of Tribasodites Jeannel from Taiwan and southern China (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae)

Coleoptera Batrisini East Asia new species sexual dimorphism termitophily

Abstract

A new species, Tribasodites sugayai sp. nov., from Taiwan and southern China is described and illustrated. This new species was collected from colonies of the Hodotermopsis sjostedti Holmgren, 1912 termite. It is the first exact record of a termitophilous species in this genus.
