A review of the genus Barsaurea Volynkin & Huang, 2019, with a description of new species (Lepidoptera, Erebidae, Arctiinae, Lithosiini)

Abstract

The genus Barsaurea Volynkin & Huang, 2019 is reviewed. The genus is excluded from the Asura / Miltochrista generic complex and provisionally placed in the Eugoa generic complex. One new species is described: Barsaurea ketiga Volynkin, Černý & Huang, sp. n. (W Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and SW China). Adults, male and female genitalia are illustrated.
