Abstract
This volume of Tropical Bryology is dedicated to Professor Dr. Jan-Peter Frahm on the occasion of his formal retirement from the University of Bonn. The contributions compiled in this Festschrift, written by colleagues, former scholars, and friends from around the world, reflect the wide variety of topics Jan-Peter has addressed in bryology. It is this diversity and openness for new ideas that is a major thread throughout Jan-Peter’s scientific and academic career.
