Impact Factor

Zootaxa's impact factor* for 2006 is 0.612, according to the 2006 edition of  Journal of Citation Reports (published by Thomson Scientific in June 2007).

* The impact factor is a measure of the frequency with which an average article in a journal has been cited in a particular year or period. The ISI impact factor of a journal for a particular year is calculated by dividing the number of current year citations in ISI SCIE journals to the source items published in that journal during the previous two years.
