Abstract

Garrisonia gen. nov. is established for Garrisonia aurindae sp. n. (type species, holotype % and allotype & : Brazil: Bahia, Salvador, in Museu Nacional, Rio de Janeiro). Diagnoses and illustrations are given for similar genera of the region.
