Abstract
Eritrichium aktonense Y.S.Lian & J.Q.Wang has been previously placed in synonymy within E. longifolium Decne. in Flora of China. However, based on our examinations of specimens and bibliographies, combined with field observations, E. longifolium is shown to be significantly different from E. aktonense, but to be conspecific with E. petiolare var. villosum W.T.Wang.
