Abstract

Seven names of Kobresia Willd. (Cyperaceae), namely Kobresia cercostachys (Franch.) C.B.Clarke, Kobresia curvirostris (C.B.Clarke) C.B.Clarke, Kobresia filicina (C.B.Clarke) C.B.Clarke, Kobresia gammiei C.B.Clarke, Kobresia prainii Kük., Kobresia tibetica Maxim. and Kobresia vidua (Boott ex C.B.Clarke) Kük. are lectotypified as a part of the current revision of this genus for India. The nomenclature of K. utriculata C.B.Clarke is discussed.
